Within our estate of nearly two hectares, we only built two apartments. This was deliberate, in order for guests to experience the greatest possible intimacy and close-to-nature feeling. The Minor Lodge is located in the middle of a 550-metre vineyard planted with Kadarka grapes, overlooking the city and the lower slopes of the Szekszárd wine region. We can comfortably accommodate four people here. The size of the apartment, with terrace, is 110sqm, of which the bedroom is 18sqm. You can find a king-size double bed in the bedroom of the Minor Lodge and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is equipped with a bathroom. The Grand Lodge is located at the top of our orchard, which consists of more than 150 fruit trees. The house can comfortably accommodate six people, with a floor area of 145sqm – terrace is included; the bedrooms are 15 sqm and 13 sqm. The Grand Lodge is accessible by wheelchair. In front of the lodge you can find a parking lot. The two bedrooms of the Grand Lodge are equipped with a king-size double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. You can find two bathrooms in the apartment.

Our estate is a 15-minute walk from the city centre and the local wineries can be reached in around the same time.

On the sloping ‘gorge roads’, you can explore the surrounding magnificent vineyards. Our two electric bicycles are available for rent (for more information please send us an e-mail to hello@szegzard.hu).

If the mood strikes you, you can build a campfire in the fire pit or take the opportunity to relax in the hammock.

Both of our apartments are dog-friendly. The actual cost of dog per night can be found at szegzard.hu/foglalas.

We provide plenty for children to play with in the treehouse at the bottom of the woods.

We have staff and reception present on our property at varying intervals.

There is no daily cleaning in the buildings, a one-time cleaning fee is included in the price.

Breakfast is not included in the room price and can be ordered for an extra cost. For our guests with food allergies and on vegan diet, we prepare special breakfast. The actual cost of breakfast can be found at szegzard.hu/foglalas

You are also able to participate at our Private Dining Experience while staying with us. You can order lunch or dinner from our private chef who creates a personal fine dining menu according to your taste and seasonal choice.

We have collected the region’s outstanding wines in our wine cellar for your perusal.

You can sample a total of 50 varieties of wine by more than 20 winemakers among the 400 exclusive bottles in our wine cellar.
